Cyber Insurance

Your cyber insurance renewal is asking harder questions every year.

We built an AI assistant that helps you answer them, grounded in your firm's actual data, not generic advice.

Included on Professional (15 questions/day) and Premium (unlimited).

The problem

Cyber insurance renewals used to take a morning. Now your carrier sends a twelve-page questionnaire asking about multi-factor authentication, written information security plans, incident response testing, vendor management, privileged access, and training completion rates.

If you can't answer, or your answers sound uncertain, one of three things happens:

1. Your premium goes up.

Sometimes a lot.

2. Your coverage gets narrowed.

Sub-limits on ransomware. Exclusions on social engineering.

3. The carrier declines to renew.

And finding another carrier fast, mid-cycle, is painful.

Most CPA firms aren't failing the questionnaire because their security is bad. They're failing it because the firm can't find the answers in time, in one place, with proof attached.

What the Insurance Gap Assistant does

When you open the Insurance Gap Assistant, you're not talking to a generic chatbot. You're talking to an AI that sees your firm's data inventory, your risk assessment, your WISP, your training records, and your control testing, and stays strictly on topic. It won't write your marketing emails. It won't tell you what to have for lunch. It's built for one job: getting your firm through its cyber insurance cycle.

Ask it things like

“My carrier asks whether we have a documented incident response plan with annual tabletop testing. What do we have, and what's missing?”
“The questionnaire asks about privileged access controls. What do we have in place, and what do we still need?”
“What are my biggest gaps before renewal?”
“Help me prep for my broker meeting next week, what should I know?”
“What would a well-prepared firm our size have that we don't?”

It draws from your actual firm data, so the answer isn't "typically firms have…", it's "here's what you have, here's what you're missing, and here's what to fix first."

How it works

1

Set up your firm

One time

Tell us about your firm, your software, your team, your state. The wizard walks you through it. Most firms finish setup in a day, depending on size.

2

Run your risk assessment and generate your WISP

Foundation

These are the foundation. Your insurer asks about both, directly and indirectly, on nearly every questionnaire.

3

Open the Insurance Gap Assistant

Anytime

Ask it anything about your coverage posture. It pulls from your setup data and gives you an answer specific to your firm, not a generic explainer.

4

Fix the gaps it surfaces

Team workflow

Every gap comes with a suggested action. Tasks get assigned to your team. Progress is tracked.

5

Walk into the renewal prepared

Renewal day

When the questionnaire lands, you've already done the work. When the broker calls, you already know the answer.

What you'll have at renewal time

  • A current Written Information Security Plan (WISP): the artifact most carriers now require
  • A current risk assessment: that covers the scenarios carriers care about
  • A documented Incident Response Plan: with state-by-state breach notification
  • Training records: for every person on your team, tracked to completion
  • Control testing evidence: not just claims, proof
  • A documented vendor inventory: with who has what data
  • A Qualified Individual (QI) named for the program: for firms on Professional or Premium

If an insurer asks for any of it, you send it. If they ask follow-up questions, the Insurance Gap Assistant helps you answer them.

A note on carriers

We don't have preferred-carrier relationships today. The Insurance Gap Assistant is carrier-agnostic, which means it works with whichever carrier sent you the questionnaire, and it won't nudge you toward a specific broker or product. Our job is to make you renewal-ready. Your broker's job is to get you the best coverage at the best price.

Carrier partnerships are on the roadmap; when we add them, we'll make it optional and transparent.

Common questions

Is the Insurance Gap Assistant actually useful, or is it just a branded chatbot?

It's scoped tightly on purpose. It won't write a poem, won't answer questions unrelated to your coverage and compliance posture, and won't hallucinate carrier-specific policy language. It reads your firm's real data and answers questions about it. If you ask something off-topic, it says so.

Will it answer my questionnaire for me?

No. Not automatically, and not without you seeing it. The assistant helps you understand what each question is asking, pulls the right information from your firm's data, and shows you what's missing. You always review and approve before sending anything to your carrier. That's not just a policy. It's how the product is built.

What if my firm has a Qualified Individual (QI)?

Great. The Insurance Gap Assistant works alongside your QI's existing workflow. The QI still signs off on the risk decisions; the assistant just makes the information discoverable at the moments you need it.

Does this replace my broker?

No. Your broker negotiates with the carrier. The Insurance Gap Assistant makes sure the broker has the best possible answers to hand to the carrier. Most firms who use us tell us their broker meetings get shorter and their offers get better.

What does my MSP have to do with this?

Your MSP runs the technical side: firewalls, patches, endpoint security, backups. Most of what the questionnaire asks about is governance: the written plans, the documented decisions, the training records, the risk assessment, the proof. That's the layer we handle, alongside your MSP, not instead of them.

Will the AI send my firm's data somewhere I don't want it to go?

We're transparent about how AI is used in the product. See how we handle AI for the full picture: our subprocessor, data residency, retention terms, and the guardrails we build in.
